You can eat everything else. However, eat food only in two specific groups.
Group number one consists of meat, eggs, dairy products, fat derived from dairy or animals, vegetables, and small amounts of nuts, fruit, honey, and oils. Don’t eat starchy foods like corn, potatoes, bread, rice and other grains and also legumes, including soy products.
Group number two consists of starchy foods like corn, potatoes, bread (must not be sweetened or from white flour), rice, other grains, tofu, and other non-GMO soy products, legumes, nondairy milk, vegetables, fruits, nuts, honey, oils. Foods in this combination are vegan. No meat, eggs, or dairy products in any form. Make sure to eat more vegetables than starchy food during the day.
You can combine any food within one group during one day. The next day you can choose if you want to eat food in that group again, or if you want to eat from the second group. You just have to stick with that food group during the whole day. This way your body doesn’t become deficient in one kind of food.
You need to have more than 50% of raw food in your first meal of the day: fruit, vegetables, even sashimi. Ideally, keeping your diet at least 50% raw all day is an excellent way to speed up the detoxifying process.
If you are a person who tends to like meat, use group one for more days. A few days in a row are better than switching every day. If you tend to be more of a vegetarian, eat more days from group number two. I usually eat from group number one for three days or so and then one day from group number two to fill my needs for legumes and complex sugars.
Sometimes it's hard to decide in the morning which group sounds better. You can always have fruit or vegetables that are allowed in both days and choose later in the day. I often imagine, for example, oatmeal with fresh fruit and honey and then I imagine a small cob salad and choose what sounds better at the moment.
It's a really good idea to add food like seaweed or chia seeds that help to pull an amazing amount of toxins from your body. Sauerkraut and cabbage are great, too. Cacao without the refined sugar is excellent as well. Keep in mind that superfoods are amazing for those who eat them often enough that the body knows how to benefit from them. Fermented food in general is a great help to your GI track and I would recommend at least one fermented product per day.
It is very likely that during this time your body weight will shift towards the direction your body is supposed to be, especially if you stay on this cleansing diet for more than a week. Your body will start to rapidly adjust to its ideal shape. It is good to stay on this cleansing way of eating for about two weeks. By not having your body process certain food combinations, it will get a bit of free time to deal with the stored up fat and toxins.
